Highgate Cricket and Tennis join forces for grand Open Day on Sunday, June 22

The club invites members, their family and friends and the local community for a fabulous day of sport and entertainment while we get the opportunity to showcase our wonderful facilities and surroundings. Cricket have put together a wide-ranging, fun-packed day of events and to coincide with the Great British Tennis Weekend, we are hosting an afternoon of free coaching and free play for the general public and members to enjoy!

Highlight of the day will be the eagerly-anticipated return of the  Cricket v Tennis football clash. There will be an all-day BBQ with kids meals, offers at the bar, tennis serving speed machine, music, children’s play area, raffle and much, much more!

Full programme:

  • 10:00 – Colt’s invitational 20 over game (13-17 yrs) younger colt’s softball game
  • 11:30- Cricket v Tennis football match
  • 1:00- Cricket coaching stations
  • 2:00 – Highgate CC vs Rest of World T20 exhibition match
  • 2:00 – 5pm Free tennis coaching for adults and juniors; mini tennis; free play; family time: On main courts 1-4 and school courts A and B – For full details and how to book go to the LTA website here
  • 15:30 – Champagne Bowl off competition (open to anyone)
  • 17:00 – 18.00 Raffle Draw (Prizes include Lord’s tickets, signed shirts); Match presentations
