1. LTA MATCHES
In case of sudden showers rendering the school courts unplayable. Any adult or junior LTA league, tournament or matchplay involving other clubs will be able to move to the main courts and therefore taking precedence over any other activity at the club (social, ladder, friendly play…). Members booked on a main court should be notified by the Director of Tennis at least 6 hours before that their play might be cancelled and/or interrupted due to bad weather. In case of a bad weather forecast (more than 70% chance of rain according to the Met Office forecast) for the match day, LTA matches should be cancelled by the Director of Tennis.
2. CAMPS, 1-2-1 COACHING and GROUP COACHING
Exceptionally, coaches may transfer camps and coaching sessions from the school courts to the main courts when the school courts are unplayable BUT only if nobody has booked the courts. If a coach does this, they must accept the risk that a member will arrive at any time and wish to play on the main courts they have booked. In this event, the player should speak to the coach and with reason the coach must vacate the court IMMEDIATELY.
