Shepherd’s Cot Gates
The gates to Shepherd’s Cot will be closed between midnight – 7am from Monday 18th August for a 6 week period.
This action has been taken to try to avoid some illegal activity such as dumping that has taken place in Hanley’s Car Park and the Shepherd’s Cot Trust hopes that this will help to deter people from using the Cot for illegal purposes.
The arrangements are as follows:
- Trial start date – August 18th
- Trial period – 6 weeks ending September 28th
- Gates opening at 7am except for Tuesday at 6am for cleansing services
- Gates closing at Midnight every night
- Notices will be put up in clubhouses and car parking areas
- Following the trial the Cot Trust will review and consult on next steps
