Thursday Night Winter League Update

A slightly less well organised night without Steve to keep us in line, Francesco managed to get away with being late and the warm up to the delight of some was abandoned  as I tried to organise.

In contrast to the miserable weather , the tennis was hot at least one side of the court. Rob stormed the men’s title and Julia triumphed over the ladies.

Rob tops the rankings, Steve O moving up and Jon Z slipping to third.

Francesco is rising from the bottom and who knows if he can perfect that serve he may one day be allowed to play on a Tuesday night .Richard C maybe a warm up and less red wine between games  could be the answer?
