Congratulations to Naqi who recently won the South – East regional VI tournament singles in the B1 ( blind) category. Monica was the top woman and she and Naqi were doubles champions.
Naqi is currently no 3 in the world and Monica is in the GB squad.
They are playing at Highgate this Sunday 7th November 6-8pm if anyone would like to hit with them or see blind tennis in action.
If you can’t do this Sunday, you would be very welcome to come to the indoor sessions at Islington Tennis Centre, held on alternate Wednesdays, 6-8pm.
