Inclusive Tennis – Interview with Linda Almond
Highgate has long been committed to Inclusion. Our work over the past few years has been led by long term club member and volunteer, Linda Almond. The club is immensely grateful to Linda for all her work and proud of the reputation for inclusion which the club now enjoys, due in large part to Linda’s initiatives. Here she is interviewed by fellow Highgate member, Kate Chesser. Kate is a wheelchair tennis player and the Inclusion Lead on the Board of Middlesex Tennis. The interview was part of a Middlesex LTA initiative highlighting the great work done by volunteers.
Equity, diversity and inclusion are fundamental to our Club and as a Tennis Committee we are always looking for ways to make our Club more inclusive and build on the excellent work done by Linda and the coaching team.
