Highgate Annual Tennis Tournament 2014

Our annual club tournament will take place from Saturday 26th July to Saturday 9th August, when we will have finals for all events followed by our summer party.

The following events will be held:

  • Men’s singles
  • Women’s singles
  • Men’s doubles
  • Women’s doubles
  • Mixed doubles

There will be plate events across all categories for those knocked out in the first round, so every entrant will get a minimum of 2 matches.  The entry fee is £6 per person per event (£3 for juniors).

Sign up sheets are now up on the noticeboard in the clubhouse.  The draw will take place in the morning on Sunday 20th July, so please ensure you have signed up by then.  If you would like to enter the doubles but don’t have a partner, put your name on the ‘Looking for partner?’ sheet and we will try and match you up with somebody.

Please note that the tournament is run to a tight schedule across a 2 week period, so if you sign up then make sure you’re available to play.

Volunteers needed!

We have a number of tasks involved in preparing for and running the tournament, and so need volunteers to make sure it all runs smoothly.  It would be good to see some new faces involved, and so please contact Nicky Wellfair (nwellfair@hotmail.com) if you are willing to help out.
