Highgate Cricket v Tennis Football Match – Sunday June 22

Yes football’s coming home to Highgate this summer at the Club Open Day on Sunday 22nd June at 12pm.  We are looking for players to play against the highly competitive and no doubt combative Cricket team for the return of the cricket v tennis annual football match.

If you think you have a touch of the Nobby Stiles, the Peter Beardsleys, the Archie Gemills or the Ryan Giggs then email the Captain, Donnie MacLaren – donnie.maclaren@hotmail.co.uk with your name, and preffered position.  There will also be a sign-up sheet in the club house from this Thursday 22nd June.

Signing up though does not mean that you will be picked automatically – that will be at the discretion of the ‘to be appointed’ Manager.  Format is still being worked on, but we will try and involve as many players and subs as possible.

So, get your kit on and see you on 22nd June.  Warm-up will be at 11.30 with kick-off at 12pm.
