Announcing the new club committees

The AGM of Highgate Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club was held on Sunday 23 March.

35 members from the tennis and cricket section attended.  Minutes of both the General Committee AGM and the Tennis Section AGM will be published on the website shortly, but the AGM elected two committees, the General Committee and the Tennis Committee.

Congratulations to those who were elected and thanks to those who have stood previously.  Details of the new committee members and their contact details will soon be published on the website, but in the meantime, here is who was elected:

General Committee

  • Chair – Richard Tusting
  • Vice-Chair – Charlie G Sweeney
  • Hon. Treasurer – Andy Newton
  • Hon. General Secretary – (shared) Patsy Nightingale and Kate Stevens
  • Bar Secretary – Graeme Jenkins
  • Acting Child Welfare Officer – Sarah Burke
  • Social Secretary – (shared) Vicky Gilbart & Kim Slater
  • Bar committee – Graeme Jenkins, Sandra Peterken, Andy Newton & Dave Baker

Tennis Committee

  • Tennis Chair – Miki Lentin
  • Women’s captain – Nicky Wellfair
  • Mens Captain – William Winstone
  • Tennis secretary – Paul Cohen
  • Membership secretary – Michelle Cook
  • Junior coordinator – Sarah Burke
