Raising money for Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen

A really big thank you to Rachel Lewis and her team of helpers, especially Michelle, Patsy and Jo, who have provided soup for evenings while Chanya and Amy were away.

They covered the costs of the food themselves and have been able to donate £807 to the local Muswell Hill Churches together soup kitchen. It is based in the Muswell Hill Baptist Church. The soup kitchen started in 1994 and now runs 5 nights a week throughout the year and provides a two-course hot meal for 40-50 people each night it is open. Last year it served 14,000 meals.

It is run by volunteers and relies on donations of food / money from local people, schools and churches.

This contribution will really help.
