Shepherd’s Cot Consultation Workshop
First Shepherd’s Cot Consultation Workshop
The Development Group of the Shepherd’s Cot Trust held its first Consultation Workshop last Thursday evening at North London Cricket Club. 35 people attended from three clubs, Hanley, North London and Highgate, including members of all ages.
The aim of the consultation workshop, run by professionals in community consultation Miriam Levin and Matthew Nimmo, was to speak directly to members about how they think the Cot could or should be developed in the future.
There was very active discussion amongst the attendees who were split into discussion four groups. Each group discussed topics such as sports facilities, local environment, parking, maintenance, lighting and signage.
The outcomes of the workshop will be developed into a report in the coming weeks. The ideas that come out of the consultation will then be put to all the members of all three clubs in an online survey. The results of this consultation will help to guide the plans of the club’s trustees about how the Cot could be developed in the future – watch this space as plans develop.
