Tuesday night winter league – the results

It went down to the wire and it could have been even more exciting if the match scheduling had not ended up putting Louise and Adam as partners in the last set!  In the end Louise; Adam and John ended up each getting 19 points which meant Louise was the 2015 Champion so may congratulations to her.  Adam secured the runner up spot as well as the coveted Michelle Cook Award.
Congratulations to Duncan who was crowned Highgate Winter League Player of the year; taking over from last year’s winner – Kirsty.
Thanks to Michelle (and Rachel – the new Thursday night Winter League Player of the Year) for providing great food and refreshments over the last few weeks.  Around £900 was raised for charity across the Winter League evenings!
Thanks to Nicky for running the evenings in my absence and to Chanya & Amy for their support    Also, a big thanks from me for my present – it was very kind of you.
Here is a full listing of the evenings awards, but also feel free to jump down to the bottom of this e-mail where the season’s keenly awaited statistics.  Attached is one of the twitter pics courtesy of Duncan and the Final table.
