Brookside Finals Day 2019
Brookside Finals Day was a great success with finals being played in perfect conditions from 9:30am through to 6:20pm in front of a boisterous and discerning crowd.
The biggest winner on the day was, yet again, the Brookside Handicapping Computer, with 4 of the main draw finals going to 3 long and close sets. We had seasoned Club players, Sandra & Janet, winning the Women’s Doubles, as well as new member, Lucy, winning the Women’s Singles. There was an international flavour to the Mens Finals with Roy and Antonio sharing trophies along with their partners Neil and RichT.
A big thanks for everyone who helped out and ensured the Tournament ran so smoothly. The Computer now goes into hibernation but there is much more tennis to be had at the Club throughout the Summer, whether it be social, ladders, coaching, the Highgate Tournament or Team matches.
