Club Tournament Draws

This year’s club tournament draws are now online, and can be accessed using this link

You should arrange your own matches by the play-by dates indicated in the draws, contact details can be found in the membership list on the club website. If you have forgotten the log in details, or need contact details for a junior member, please email info@highgate-tennis.co.uk
All matches are the best of three tie-break sets. Please use the scoreboards (stored in the floodlight cupboard) where possible, so that spectators can follow your progress.
From Saturday 24 August there will be tournament balls available (there will be a bag hanging in the ladies changing room if there is no session organiser) – please only use 3 new balls per match. Courts will also be available to book, and the booking sheets will be in the tournament folder on the bar, or with the session organiser. The evening slots this year are 6.30pm and 8pm (note the start times may vary slightly in the final week when the junior squads start back). If you are booking the 6.30pm slot please make every effort to turn up on time, as there will usually be a match on that court after you. Any players who wish to do so are welcome to play their first matches before the official start of the tournament, but you will need to provide your own balls and you will not get priority over other members on court space.
After you’ve finished a match please give your results to the session organiser, or email them to Nicky Wellfair (nwellfair@hotmail.com) so that the online tournament software can be updated.
Anybody losing their first match (with the exception of seeded players) is eligible to enter the plate, and sign up sheets for the plate tournament will be up in the clubhouse shortly.
There are a few outstanding payments that need to be collected – both players in a doubles partnership need to pay the £8 entry fee (£4 for juniors). If you have not yet paid for all of your events, please bring cash with you to your first match so that it can be collected by the session organiser.
Finally we are looking for session organisers. If you are willing to spare a few hours one weekend or evening, please email Kevin Balon (kevin.balon@googlemail.com). It’s a great chance to relax, enjoy some Thai food and watch some quality tennis!
