Highgate Cricket & Tennis Club is looking for a Part-time Clubhouse and Tennis Courts Maintenance Person.

20-25 hours per week, negotiable.

Job Description

Inside the CLUBHOUSE

To call out plumbers, electricians, alarm services etc as and when necessary , and to ensure tvs and wifi are working satisfactorily.
To be the main key holder and to distribute and monitor keys to certain members.
To ensure the clubhouse is tidy, and ensure the cleaner (who comes in three times per week ) has adequate cleaning materials.

Outside the CLUBHOUSE

Tennis Courts Maintenance – watering and rolling 3 shale courts as necessary in the Summer, and power washing 9 hard courts.
Maintaining nets on all Tennis Courts.
Leaf clearance (mainly in the Autumn).
Organising Fencing and Floodlight maintenance.
Strimming and simple gardening.
Planting pots, borders and baskets around clubhouse and Brookside for Summer.
Refuse Collections and organising and implementing a Recycling System. This will also include emptying of Tennis Court Bins (and outdoor bins), and general tidiness of courts / clubhouse.
Maintaining padlocks for all the tennis courts.
Ensuring outdoor seating areas are safe and tidy.
Maintaining general clearance of gutters and drains.
Maintaining the good working condition of equipment and tools in the Tennis shed and ensuring that the Tennis shed is kept tidy.
Keep an up to date list of maintenance tasks for members.

Salary negotiable – 4 weeks paid holiday.
