Also congratulations to Antonio Agresta who is the 2017 King of the Ladder!
A number of people have dropped out for the winter session so the divisions are generally a little smaller; which is not a bad thing given the weather in Jan & Feb.
There were a number of divisions where people played no ladders or very few. Obviously this can be due unavoidable issues but please let me know before the new ladders are created if you know you are unable to play. Also just to clarify a rule regarding defaults. It is not allowed to claim/receive defaults in matches if they are not played. Matches must be played to receive any points. The only exception being if you start a match and one person then becomes injured or cannot continue for other reasons. The injured player would then record the number of games he has when the match is stopped and the other player is granted the win.
If you decide you do not want to be in the current ladder then please let me know by end of Jan so I can remove you. After the end of Jan you will be active for the whole ladder session irrespective of injuries etc.
Any questions then please e-mail me. – firstname.lastname@example.org
Please remember that you need to have played 4 or more matches in this session to avoid being automatically removed.
To check court availability please see our online court schedule here.
Please note ladders can only be played on courts allocated to Club Play (Open).
At weekends this means Courts 1- 4 can only be used up until 1.00pm (in the winter) 2.00pm (in the summer) and from 5.00pm (in winter) 6.00pm (in summer).
Between these times social tennis has priority. If you decide to play ladders on courts 1-4 during social tennis sessions, members participating in the social tennis sessions have the right to ask you to vacate the court immediately. Please do so gracefully!
