Highgate Club Championship 2025

The Highgate Club Championship 2025 is now open for sign up!
This year we have decided to combine both Brookside and Club Tournament into one. Main Draws will be seeded with classic scoring while the Plate Draws will follow the traditionally rated Brookside tournament formula which means that anyone has a chance to win the plate! For example, you might receive a -30/30 advantage on every game!
Entry are £5 pounds per event and please sign up before the 8th August!

Competition Date – 23th August to 13th September (Sunday 14th September as back up if required)
Please come support the finalists on Saturday 13th September!
For Doubles Entries
Both partners need to register and pay the £5 entry fee. When registering your entry you need to add your partner’s name in the message box.
If you wish to enter a Doubles Event but don’t have a partner please contact someone on the Tournament Committee (Kevin Balon) and we will try and match you up. Contact details below

Availability to Play Matches
We anticipate a significant number of matches will need to be scheduled and played and all entrants will need to be mindful of play-by dates particularly if they are entering multiple events. In order to be fair to all entrants and to keep the tournament on track it may be necessary to eliminate players whose availability to play matches is limited. Please do not consider entering if you are unavailable to play on Finals Day or away/unavailable for more than a few odd days during the Tournament period.
Tournament Draws
These will be completed around the 16th/17th August and further details together with information on how to make court bookings, match format and results reporting will be made available then.
Plate Events
Players who lose in the first round or their first match will automatically be entered into the Plate Event. No sign ups required. As mentioned above the plate will be following a rated tournament formula which means anyone can win, however to qualify for the plate you have to play and lose your main draw first round match. Further details will follow once the Tournament has started.
