To celebrate the international atmosphere at Highgate, the Club is pleased to introduce the first World Cup of Tennis.
- Team ENGLAND Captain: Harriet
- Team GREAT BRITAIN Captain: Susan
- Team EUROPE Captain: Antonio
- Team REST OF THE WORLD Captain: Roy
The competition is spread over two days with semis and finals.
6no ladder sets per match (2no. men’s singles, 2no. women’s singles, 2no. mixed doubles) with the only rule that who plays in the singles cannot play the doubles.
Sudden death and Championship tie-break.
Stand up for your country and share your interest with your Captains who will run trials or playoff at their discretion.
Flags and Vuvuzelas are welcome.
BBQ at the end of the day and rewards to the Winners.
