Brookside Spring Party and one point slam – Saturday 21 March, 5.00-7.00pm

Join us from 5pm for the official opening of our new Brookside courts, a farewell to Susan and Carol and an experimental one point tournament inspired by the Australian Open!

Everyone is welcome. Each player will win or lose a match after only one point with rock, paper, scissors deciding who will serve. If you are in ladders 1-5 you only have one serve, miss it and you are out! Can you triumph against Highgate’s best? One point to decide it all!

Draws will be available on the day and you can use social tennis from 2pm to 5pm to warm up.

We will also use this occasion to say a big thank you and farewell to the General Committee Chair, Susan Paterson, and the doyenne of Highgate and Vice Chair, Carol Lee, who between them have served the club for fifty years.

As the bar and kitchen will be temporarily closed please bring your own drinks. The Club will provide pizzas from Georgians. More information to follow.
